Since 1994, Jack R. Walter has supported numerous organizations that directly or indirectly serve the benefit of individuals, teams and groups participating in sporting events and activities for the physically and developmentally challenged. Jack has been an instructor, guide and assistant with adaptive ski programs at Mountain High in Los Angeles County and Snowbird, Utah.
Jack has supported and sponsored numerous wheelchair basketball teams, quad rugby teams and various athletes both qualifying for and participating in the International Paralympics Games. He served on the Board of Directors of Wasatch Adaptive Sports based in Salt Lake City and Snowbird, Utah. For 25 years, Jack has provided support to the annual Steve Young Ski Classic fundraiser for the benefit of Wasatch Adaptive Sports. He is also a strong supporter of the humane treatment of animals. |
Treven W. Goldsmith joined with the formation of the Jack Robert Walter Foundation. He sustains Foundation marketing and oversees daily operations. Treven is currently an audit associate with KPMG in Los Angeles and is a CPA. He earned his Master's degree in Accounting from the Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California. Treven's undergraduate degrees include a BA in Psychology and BS in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business.
Treven has worked with programs raising money for different causes including organizations supporting cancer research. He has volunteered many hours aiding organizations that support disabled and challenged children. Treven has also coached organized youth soccer. Sharon E. Walter-Goldsmith is a tenured Board member with The Laurence School, a prominent Southern California K-6 private school. Sharon has been active as a volunteer and donor, sponsoring youth organizations and activities including youth sports and a program providing youth ecology education.
Sharon has been the President of Continental Installation, Inc. for more than thirty (30) years. Continental Installation, Inc. manufactures custom designed commercial cabinets and mill work. Sharon has also been the Vice President of Artcrafters Cabinets, Inc. for more than forty (40) years. She is also an active partner of 2834 Colorado Avenue, LLC, a large creative arts development project in Santa Monica California. |
